For You

Once upon a time, in the woods, there lived a man without a face. He only had a memory. He remembered though he couldn't see, hear, talk or smell. The party in the forest was frightened of him. Everytime he walked out, all hell would break loose. Everyone would panick and scamper off to hide.

He knew that he scare them so he decided not to leave his tiny treehouse at the river bank ever again. He didn't want to cause a mini mayhem in the peaceful forest and be hurt by their bluntness. He only wondered about her all day long. Deep in his memory, he saw her. Somewhere. One day. Long ago.

She loved him as he was. She made him laugh. She talked to him. She touched him. She stayed with the faceless him, even though he couldn't whisper, "I love you".

For many years, she was the only inhabitant in him.

He would have found her if he crossed the river. On the other side of the river, a girl was searching for her heart in the vastness.
